Rapper Lul G is set to be sentenced to 21 years in prison after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter charges Thursday.
Lul G, whose real name is George Harris, accused of shooting and killing a man over three years ago inside of a home, entered his plea, saying he would offer no defense, according to The Reporter.
Harris was initially facing a first-degree murder charge in his trial.
He also admitted to the personal use of a firearm during the shooting.
Harris, 24, avoided the possibility of being found guilty murder and a sentence of 25 to life, plus more time for his firearm charge for a previous felony conviction, the news station reports.
