ATLANTA- Rapper Mad Musik Cali was booked into jail on murder charges in connection to the death of his ex-girlfriend who was pregnant, police said.
The rapper, whose real name is Justin Rene Lewis, was booked into the Dekalb County Jail Wednesday on one count of murder, authorities have confirmed, according to local reports.
Lewis is accused of shooting and killing Raesha Heard, the mother of his children, as she was taking groceries out from her car’s trunk on Kelley Chapel Road in Decatur, Georgia on Oct. 11.
Heard’s family says her 8-year-old son was at the scene and witnessed his mother being shot multiple times.
