LOS ANGELES- Rapper MoneySign Suede was stabbed to death while in prison Tuesday.
The rapper, whose real name is Jaime Brugada Valdez, was found unresponsive just before 10 p.m. after correctional officers found that he was not in his cell during a count check.
Suede, 23, was stabbed in his neck.
CDCR officials said he was found “with injuries consistent with a homicide,” according to The L.A. Times.
MoneySign was serving a 32-month sentence for gun charges.
The CDCR says there is an ongoing investigation.
