Rapper Mystikal is asking a judge to release him on bond as he awaits his trial.
The rapper’s attorneys presented several motions on Monday, which included a request to reinstate bond, according to WBRZ.
Mystikal, whose real is Michael Tyler, has been behind bars without bond since July.
Tyler is accused of stealing money from a female victim who was at his home. The rapper allegedly choked her before sexually assaulting her. The victim also claims Mystikal held her against her own will.
He’s been convicted of rape before.
