Rapper Nas EBK Arrested After Assaulting Shoprite Employee For Prank Video

NY- Rapper Nas EBK charged with assault and making terroristic threats during a YouTube prank video that went wrong at a Shoprite in Rochelle Park, police said Wednesday.

Nas EBK,19, whose real name is Nasir Valenzuela, was arrested by a U.S. Marshals in Penns Grove on Tuesday.

The video, which was posted on the YouTube channel of Buba100x, was filmed on Jan. 9 around 1 a.m. The Bronx rapper, wearing a red hoodie, and Buba are seen going up to Shoprite customers and employees, asking them questions and yelling loudly.

Buba can be seen taking the hat off of an employee, who became upset and told him “Don’t do that buddy.”

Nas EBK is then seen taking the hat and running off with it before returning it.

At the end of the video, the disgruntled employee gets into an argument with the rapper and Buba. They explained that they were filming a video before Nas EBK is seen taking something out of his pocket.

Police said that Nas EBK allegedly pulled out a scalpel-style knife and threatened to kill the employee.

The teen rapper was also seen telling the employee “Walk toward me again and I’ll violate you,” before he kicked the employee and ran out of the store with Buba and a third male.”

The video was posted last month and has been viewed over 430,000 times.

Valenzuela was charged with simple assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

He is currently in Bergen County Jail.
