Rapper NBA YoungBoy Gets Federal Gun Case Moved To Utah To Plead Guilty

Rapper NBA YoungBoy has agreed to have a federal gun charge from Baton Rouge moved to a federal court in Utah.

The rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, agreed to move to his case on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana to the United States District Courts of Utah.

As part of the transfer of the federal case Gaulden will plead guilty to the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, court records show.

His charges stem from when he was arrested in Baton Rouge in September 202, during a music video shoot with over a dozen others.

He will face the charge in Utah where he was arrested on unrelated drug charges. The Baton Rouge rapper was charged with forgery, identity fraud and procuring prescription drugs in an alleged drug fraud ring.

NBA is facing up to 10 years for the gun charge, fines and supervised release.
