BATON ROUGE (WAFB)- Rapper NBA Youngboy is accused of skipping out on drug tests, which was mandated as a bond condition for his arrest back in September, reports WAFB.
Court documents say that NBA Youngboy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, had been asked to participate in random drug screenings, daily curfew calls and monthly office visits.
A rep for the corrections service in Gaulden’s case told a judge that the rapper was complying with the required calls but failed to complete other required tasks.
The rapper failed to show up for a scheduled appointment in January due to dental work he had done in New York, but never rescheduled his appointment despite him being asked to do so, court records state.
Gaulden has a court date in April, where his attorney will be requesting to have the rapper’s bond conditions dismissed.
Gaulden was among 16 people who were arrested and charged with firearm possession in September during a music video shoot.
He was just arrested last week by federal agents for a warrant after fleeing from them.
