Rapper Nelly will not be charged for sexual assault case in the UK; he also breaks his silence

Police in the UK will not be charging rapper Nelly with sexual assault.

The 44-year-old-rapper, whose real name is né Cornell Haynes Jr., was accused by a female back in December of 2017, who said that she was sexually assaulted by the rapper after he performed a show in Essex.

The woman claimed that Nelly had masterbated in front of her multiple times.

Charges have been dropped against the rapper after police in the UK conducted a full investigation and the woman refused to testify.

According to BB, once the woman refused to testify, prosecutors then proceeded to drop the charges.

Nelly released a statement to People saying “I am very thankful to the U.K. police for thoroughly investigating the false allegations against me and I am satisfied with the results of this case and the previous one in the U.S., both driven by the same attorney, both being dropped.”
