Rapper NLE Choppa Accepts Plea Deal 2 Years After Gun And Drug Charge Case

MIAMI, FLORIDA – Rapper NLE Choppa’s gun and drug case has ended after two years in Florida after accepting a plea deal.

Choppa entered a no contest plea Friday in a Broward County court and was sentenced to one year of probation, according to the Miami Herald.

The rapper, whose real name is Bryson Potts will be able to travel nationally and internationally during his probation.

The rapper was also ordered to forfeit any firearms and complete a firearm safety course as well and conduct 40 hours of community service, the outlet reports.

NLE Choppa was charged with burglary, carrying a concealed firearm as well as possession of Alprazolam (Xanax).

As part of the agreement, prosecutors dropped the drug charge and reduced the other two charges to misdemeanors.
