Rapper OMB Bloodbath And 5 Others Indicted On Racketeering Charges

HOUSTON- Rapper OMB Bloodbath, and 5 men were indicted on Friday on federal racketeering charges, according to a report.

OMB Bloodbath, whose real name is Alexandra Eliabeth Nicks, and the five others are accused of being alleged 5th Ward gang members by the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas Houston, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The six, including OMB, have been identified as Nicks and Deandre Watson, both 24, Shaquile O’Neal Richards, 29, Marcus Dewane Christopher, 26, Marquis Juwan Erskin, 29, and Metroy Harris, 32, are named in the indictment, the Houston Chronicle reports.

The charges stem from a fatal shooting in 2017.

The six alleged gang members are accused of being connected to the fatal shooting of Sam Johnson on Oct. 16, 2017. Harris and Erskin allegedly opened fire on someone they believed was a rival gang member.

That alleged gang member was shot and injured, but Johnson, who was next to him, died from his wounds.

If convicted, all six face a maximum penalty of life in prison or death.
