Rapper Pooh Shiesty Sentenced To 5 Years In Prison

MIAMI- Rapper Pooh Shiesty was sentenced to five years in prison on gun conspiracy charges in connection to a shooting outside of a Miami hotel, according to Rolling Stone.

The rapper, whose real name is Lontrell D. Williams, Jr., pleaded guilty in Jan. as I wrote.

As part of his plea deal with prosecutors, Pooh Shiesty admitted to participating in the conspiracy of three incidents.

On July 7, 2020, Pooh Shiesty was inside of a car when an occupant inside of the vehicle discharged a firearm at a gas station.

On Oct. 9, 2020, Pooh and his co-conspirators met up to purchase marijuana, codeine and sneakers. During the sale, members of Pooh Shiesty’s crew brandished firearms and assaulted two people. Afterwards, the group took off with the victims’ marijuana, codeine and sneakers.

On October 9, 2020, in Bay Harbor Islands, Shiesty and his co-conspirators arrived at a meeting to acquire marijuana, codeine, and sneakers. During this meeting, members of Shiesty’s group brandished firearms and assaulted two victims. Following the assault, the group left with the victims’ marijuana, codeine, and sneakers.

Finally, on May 30, 2021, Shiesty assaulted a victim with a firearm at a Miami strip club.
