FLORIDA- Rapper Pooh Shiesty’s sentencing date for his firearms case has been scheduled.
The sentencing hearing for Pooh’s federal firearms case has set for April in Florida, reports commercialappeal.com.
The rapper, whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr., will appear in front of District Judge K. Michael Moore at the United States Courthouse in Miami, according to commercialappeal.com.
Williams made a plea deal in which he plead guilty to a single charge of conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes.
Prosecutors then dropped three other charges against him, including the most serious charge, which was using a firearm. It would have carried a life sentence for the Memphis rapper.
Magistrate Judge Lauren Fleischer and prosecutors are jointly recommending a sentence of 97 months for Williams.
