LONDON- Rapper PS Hitsquad was sentenced to serve 5 years in prison after using a 14-year-old boy as a drug runner, according to a report.
The Drill rapper, whose real name is Alieu Koroma, is accused of sending out mass messages to drug users advertising his supply of drugs, installing the teen boy in an address to sell drugs and collect cash, reports Evening Standard.
Hitsquad was sentenced in July to serve 4 years in prison after admitting to supplying drugs, possession of a lock knife at the time of his arrest and possession of cocaine.
At a Court of Appeal Tuesday, judges decided to increase his sentence to 5 years and three months in prison.
Authorities said the rapper came under suspicion after the 14-year-old boy was reported missing and was tracked to a property being run by the rapper, according to Evening Standard.
Officers discovered a large stash of cash, and later arrested Koroma as he was leaving his home for running the drug operation.
Hitsquad, is best known for his song “Guten Tag/Jeden Tag” which went #1 on BBC Radio and racking up more than a million views on YouTube.
