Rapper Quando Rondo Granted Bond On Federal Drug Charges

GEORGIA – Rapper Quando Rondo has been granted bond for a federal gun charge.

Quando Rondo, whose real name is Tyquian Bowman, was granted a $100,000 bond Thursday and will be placed on house arrest at his Richmond Hill Home. He will also be subject to a location monitoring device, according to WTOC.

The rapper is facing one drug charge as part of a federal indictment.

The drug trafficking conspiracy Bowman is accused of is being involved with includes cocaine, meth, fentanyl and marijuana.

He was on bond at the time of his arrest for state-level drug and gang charges.

Federal prosecutors said that Bowman poses a danger to his daughter, played the lyrics to his single “Ducc Da Feds”, and played several wiretapped conversations from him in jail, while showing that he violated the terms of release from his state drug charges, the outlet reports.

Bowman’s lawyer then called his family members to take the stand and testify how the rapper went from being in the foster care system as a kid to becoming a successful rapper. His family also testified how the rapper has given back to his community, according to WTOC.

After the judge took these factors in consideration, he granted Bowman a $100,000 unsecured bond.
