Rapper Rich the Kid Arrested On Charges Of Trespassing In Miami, ‘I’ll Bond Out In 20 Minutes’

MIAMI – Rapper Rich the Kid was arrested on several charges Monday night in Miami.

The rapper, whose real name is Dimitri Roger was arrested in Miami Beach for allegedly resisting an officer and trespassing on property after receiving a warning.

According to Miami-Dade Police, multiple officers were called to the scene for a bomb threat where a perimeter was taped off and Roger “approached the tape and stated he needed to get to his hotel,” reports state.

An officer allegedly told Roger not to cross the tape due to an ongoing investigation and that doing so could result in an arrest when Roger replied, “I’ll bond out in 20 minutes,” and walked away, according to local reports.

A police report claims the 31-year-old rapper went under the police tape, walked away from officers and then “went to the rear of the property” where he wasn’t allowed to be.

Roger allegedly told security to “stop him” and “jumped the fence onto the property,” where he entered the hotel building during a K-9-unit sweep.

He was ordered to leave by officers but ignored them before he was taken to the Miami Police Department and booked.
