Rapper Russ’ Atlanta Home Broken Into, Guns And More Stolen, Report

ATLANTA – Rapper Russ’ Atlanta home was broken into on Friday, according to police.

Russ contacted police after he saw people in his home on security cameras, Channel 2 Action News reports.

When police arrived at the home, officers said the home was “ransacked”, as drawers, jewelry boxes were open and emptied, according to a police report obtained by Channel 2 Action News.

Police said the rapper, whose real name is Russell Vitale, directed the officers through the home via FaceTime, as he wasn’t present from the search.

Russ told police that he had five guns stolen from his home. Two Glock 19’s, a C Z Scorpion, and two Walther handguns.

He also told police that his girlfriend’s 2020 Mercedes C Class AMG was also taken, along with two Chanel purses, valued at $24,000, which belonged to his girlfriend, according to the news outlet.

Police stated in the report that two other cars in the garage appeared to have been entered and searched through. In the passenger seats and through a door that was left open to one of the cars.

Security footage shows four suspects in the home after they used the basement to gain entrance.

Two suspects left through the front door and two more exited through the basement door.

There is an ongoing investigation, police said.
