LONG ISLAND- Rapper Sheff G is being accused of fleeing from the police in Long Island, as he was allegedly speeding through an intersection, crashing into the bumper of a woman’s car before crashing in a yard, according to court docs.
The 23-year-old drill rapper, whose real name is Michael Kyle Williams, was hit with a Brooklyn Supreme Court lawsuit after the Aug. 21, 2020 incident, reports The Daily News.
The suit claims that Sheff G was speeding in his 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE AMG 63 through a stop sign, as he was being chased by police cars before crashing his car into a new Cadillac, owned by Alexia Friend, according to a video and the suit, The Daily News reported.
The rapper’s Mercedes-Benz skidded more than 200 feet after crashing into Friends’ car, the suit claims.
According to The Daily News, Friend testified in April that she hurt her neck, back and right shoulder.
The Nassau County police department confirmed with The Daily News that Sheff G was speeding, but there are pending charges against him stemming from the incident.
Sheff G is currently serving time on Riker’s Island. He was sentenced to two in Oct. to 2 years in prison for gun charges.
