Rapper Silento was indicted on four charges by a jury on August 4, for the killing of his cousin.
According to the DeKalb County Superior Court’s bill indictment obtained by Billboard, the rapper, whose real name is Ricky Lamar Hawk, was charged with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
TMZ were the first to report Hawk’s indictments.
The 23-year-old Atlanta rapper was arrested in Feb. of last year for the murder of his 34-year-old cousin, Fredrick Rooks.
According to Atlanta news outlets, police responded to a call about shots being fired. They found Rooks dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
Hawk had been seen on surveillance footage, fleeing the scene after the shooting.
