FLORIDA – Social media influencer turned rapper Petty Levels has died at 23.
The Philly rapper, whose real name is Mia Bennett, died in Tampa, according to local reports.
Bennett was found dead on July 19 in Tampa, a police department spokesperson said. Officers responded to the 4000 block of Boy Scout Boulevard in Tampa, around 1:30 p.m. for a report of a deceased person and found Bennett, Tampa Bay reports.
Tampa police said there are signs of foul play in her death, and there is an ongoing investigation.
Bennett’s death was confirmed by her record label Chosen One Records, who wrote on social media “We regret to inform you of the passing of our lil sis.”
Her family asks for privacy at this time.
