Rapper Soulja Boy has been released after he was arrested for violating his parole Friday morning.

Soulja Boy, 28, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way was arrested Friday morning while visiting his probation officer after allegedly being in violation for his probation for allegedly have ambition.

The rapper has been on probation for eight years, and has been offending ever since then, beginning when he was convicted of weapons violations.

• 2016- While on probation, the rapper threatened people online, police searched his home and found at least one weapon, which violated his probation.
• February 2108- A woman claimed that the rapper was keeping her hostage in his garage, and according to TMZ police found ammunition at his home which was obviously was another violation of his probation. He was then arrested for another violation of his probation.

He has was also being seen filming for a new show on B.E.T..
