FLORIDA- Rapper SpotemGottem was shot multiple times in a road rage incident early Friday.
The rapper, whose real name is Nehemiah Harden, 19, was a passenger in a Dodge Charger when there was a confrontation around 3 a.m. on Interstate 95 in Miami, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said, reports The New York Daily News.
A person opened fire at least 22 times, striking Spotem and the driver of the vehicle he was in.
The driver called 911.
The rapper was shot in both of his legs, and the driver sustained a gunshot wound to his hip, police say. Both were placed on stable condition.
Police have made no arrests and are investigating. The rapper is known for his hit song “Beat Box” which went viral on TikTok.
He’s also collaborated with rapper’s like DaBaby.
