Rapper T.I. was arrested Sunday night, but police got the wrong guy.
The rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, was at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport when he was flagged as an alleged stalker who had threatened a woman with a gun. Despite the rapper’s weight, which is 205, not matching the description of the man, who weighs 165, both names were identical, TMZ reports.
The warrant was issued in another state, but the rapper had to be subject to an automatic extradition hearing after he was transported from the airport to the Clayton County Jail. His lawyer told TMZ that he was released within two hours of the huge mix-up.
No comment from T.I. yet.
