MIAMI- A rapper from XXXTentacion’s ‘Member’s Only’ rap crew has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a homicide.
According to several Miami news outlet’s, police say that the victim, Jose Trimaine Jose, was shot and killed to death last Friday outside of the Wynwood restaurant Kush.
Police didn’t say who was involved, but now they’ve made an arrest.
The Miami Police Dept has arrested 27-year-old Lynwood Walker III on unspecified charges for his involvement in the death of Jose.
Walker is best known by his rap name “Tankhead666”, and for being featured on XXXTentacion’s Member’s Only Vol. 4 mixtape. Tankhead666 had a track on the mixtape titled “Pick Your Poison”, which was streamed more than 1.5 million times.
Miami police say that when they arrived on the scene of the crime last Friday at around 2 p.m., they found two men with gun shot wounds, and stated in reports that Walker had fled. Both victims were taken to the Hospital, but Jose didn’t survive.
It’s unclear what role Walker played in the homicide, but police had enough evidence to arrest him.
On top of being arrested for his involvement in this homicide, Maimi-Dade county police say that he is already facing felony domestic battery charges from a separate incident that occurred in Nov of 2019. He pleaded not guilty for this case.
Rapper XXXTentacion was shot and killed in Miami after leaving a Motorcycle store in 2018.
