TEXAS- Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has had his assault charges in Texas dropped against him.
The Brooklyn rapper whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is being accused of grabbing a male fan by the neck at a mall back in January of 2018.
According to the fan, he told police that Tekashi had got really upset when he pulled his phone out to record. The fan says he was yelled at by Tekashi, and that his bodyguards “surrounded him in an intimidating way.” His mother was also a witness.
Court documents reveal that moving Tekashi would be a high security risk. This would most likely have to do with the fact that he’s now known as a snitch in the streets after cooperating with prosecutors in his ongoing cases.
The charges from Harris County that were dismissed against Tekashi was assault causing bodily injury.
