Rapper The Game must pay $7.1M for Sexual Battery

CHICAGO- The seventh circuit ruled on Thursday that rapper The Game must pay up $7.1 million for sexually battering a woman.

The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor had his own dating show on VH1 “She’s Got Game’, a series (that lasted one season) where the west coast rapper had women competing to be his girlfriend.

One of those women was Priscilla Rainey, and she claims that the rapper took her to a bar while she was under the impression it was part of the show but it wasn’t.

In her 2015 complaint, Rainey says Taylor was “out of control, highly intoxicated on alcohol and drugs (which was typical), and sexually assaulted plaintiff on several occasions that night. This included him forcefully reaching his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks.”

Rainey also claimed that Taylor has “juggled” her breast at the bar.

She was sent home on episode six after she says she confronted Taylor about what he had did to her. He also had told to keep her mouth shut about what had happened but that wasn’t going to happen.

When Rainey sued the rapper for $10 million in Aug of 2015 for sexual assault, he went on social media and verbally attacked by calling her a “thirsty Gatorade mascot of a transvestite” and more.

The judge allowed video from the show that showed Rainey accusing Taylor of sexually assaulting her, and instead of denying it, he got extremely upset, didn’t deny the allegations and threatened to “strangle” and “choke” her.

Rainey was awarded $1.13 million in compensatory damages, and then $6 million for punitive damages given Taylor’s “deeply reprehensible” behavior.
