Rapper Troy Ave was present at Tekashi69’s trial

NY- Rapper Troy Ave, who some have called a snitch due to HIS cooperation with authorities after a deadly shooting in Irving Plaza, showed up to Tekashi69’s trial on Wednesday.

According to Page Six, the Brooklyn rapper wasn’t there to show support to Tekashi, he was there for Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, one of Tekashi69’s former Nine Trey Gangsta Blood associate’s who’s he’s been testifying against.

Troy Ave slipped into the courtroom, sat in one of the back rows and listened to about an hour of Tekashi69’s testimony against Mack.

Mack is facing racketeering charges and has been charged with Tekashi’s kidnapping.

Troy Ave says that Mack is a “good guy” from “what he knows”, adding “I know him from trying to get into the music business. I just know him as trying to change his life to doing positive stuff,” he added. “I’m praying for him.”

Troy Ave has been considered a snitch himself by some in the rap industry like Tekashi69 for cooperating with police after he was involved in a deadly shooting at Irving Plaza back in 2016 as rapper T.I. was about to perform.

Troy Ave was facing attempted murder and weapons possession charges, after his bodyguard was shot and killed and two bystanders were injured, including himself.

Hip-Hop Podcaster Taxstone was later charged with second-degree murder, after his DNA was found on the gun that was used to kill Troy Ave’s bodyguard.

In a song Troy Ave released after the chaos, titled “2 Legit 2 Quit’, he rapped “I’m only loyal to my fam / Middle finger from the stand / It’s either me or you.”
