BATON ROUGE- Rapper TrueBleeda has died after he was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting.
Police say they responded to reports of shots fired outside of the Mall of Louisiana around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 25. Witnesses say there were at least 30, 40 rounds fired from a vehicle that was left at the scene, reported The Advocate.
Investigators believe the rapper’s shooter/shooters pulled up to his car and opened fire before fleeing in another vehicle. The incident is being described as an “isolated incident.”
The rising rapper was one of two victims that were shot and killed. Two other people were also injured.
The rapper was known for his songs “Play for keeps” and “Soul Survivor.”
