ATLANTA- Rapper YFN Lucci was denied bond by a judge in Fulton County.
According to WSBTV, Judge Thomas Cox told YFN Lucci’s lawyer “The defendant will remain in a no-bond status at this time. Additionally, this court revokes any bonds previously issued in this case,” Cox said.
YFN Lucci surrendered to police on May 10 on a gang-related RICO indictment involving allegations of felony murder and more.
Prosecutors are using a music video against YFN Lucci, which he appeared in, along with 11 others, in a racketeering case against him.
Lucci was charged in connection to the death of James Adams in Jan.
The rapper’s attorney, Drew Findling, says that the felony murder charge against Lucci alleges that he was driving his Maybach with some friends, when someone shot at his car.
A passenger in the backseat allegedly returned fire in self-defense, and because a passenger was killed in his Lucci’s car, he’s being charged with felony murder, which Findling says he’s not guilty of.
