ATLANTA- Rapper YFN Lucci was released from Fulton County jail on Monday.
The rapper, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, turned himself into police custody last week to face a murder charge in connection to a fatal shooting that took place last month.
YFN Lucci was wanted on charges of felony murder, possession of a firearm, aggravated assault and participation in street gang activity.
Police responded to a call about a person who was shot on Dec. 10, and found James Adams, 28, lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his face, according to a police report.
Adams was taken to a Hospital, where he later died.
A second male victim was dropped off at a fire dept., in a private car. He had a gunshot wound to his abandoman. Police believe that both shootings were related.
Investigators named three male suspects in the shootings, and YFN Lucci was one of them.
The Atlanta native rapper is known for his 2017 “Everyday We Lit”, along with other songs and collabs with rappers like Rick Ross and Lil Durk.
