Rapper Yo Gotti’s Brother Anthony ‘Big Jook’ Mims Killed In Shooting Outside Restaurant

MEMPHIS – Rapper Yo Gotti’s brother “Big Jook” was shot and killed outside of a restaurant Saturday, police said.

Memphis police were flagged down about reports of gunshots outside Perignons restaurant & Event Center around 4:15 p.m.

When police arrived at the scene, they found two men shot. One victim, Anthony “Big Jook” Mims was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. A man was driven in a private car, before he was airlifted to Regional One Health in critical.

Both men were at the restaurant for a repast service, Memphis Deputy Police Chief.

The rapper’s older brother had attended a funeral service for a relative in the area earlier day.

The shooting seemed to be targeted.

Police have not identified any of the suspects.
