CALIFORNIA- The body of a missing Netflix engineer who went missing after moving from NYC for a new job was found last week.
The decomposed remains of 22-year-old Yohanes Kidane were pulled from the waters northeast of the Golden Gate Bridge on Tuesday morning after a boat passing by spotted his body floating.
Authorities were unable to identify the body, but the coroner’s office positively identified Kidane and contacted his family, according to reports.
It was determined by the coroner that his cause of death was a combination of drowning and blunt impact injuries, and the manner of death was ruled a suicide.
Kidane’s backpack, phone and wallet were found near the Golden Gate Bridge.
He had only been working at Netflix for two weeks.
Kidane was reported missing after he took an Uber on Aug. 14 and disappeared.
