Authorities say that they have found the remains of 22-year-old Mackenzie Lueck, who was murdered.
In a news conference, the police said that on Wednesday, Mackenzie’s remains were found in the Logan Canyon.
31-year-old Ayoola Ajayi was arrested a week ago and was charged with her murder.
Ajayi was charged with aggravated murder, desecration of a body, aggravated kidnapping and obstruction of justice.
Authorities found the victims items burnt from Ajay’s setting her property on fire. They also found her DNA.
According to police, Ajayi was the last person to see Mackenzie alive, and they say telephone records prove it. Records show that he was in the same park when she went missing.
Mackenzie had taken an UBER from the Salt Lake City airport to the park.
