Remy Ma’s lawyer says there’s proof she didn’t assault Brittney Taylor

NEW YORK, Ny- Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, has proof that she wasn’t at Irving Plaza, when her former “Love & Hip-Hop” cast mate Brittney Taylor said she was, and assaulted her.

This is according to Remy’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, who told TMZ that Remy was home on April 16th, at around 9:20 p.m., with her baby when she allegedly attacked Brittney Taylor at Irving Plaza.

Florio also added that there isn’t any footage that shows Remy was there and witnesses to back it up.

Remy turned herself in to the 13th precinct last Wednesday for misdemeanor assaults charges.  Her bail was set at $1,500, and she was home soon after. She has an upcoming court date in May.

Rapper Brittney Taylor says that Remy Ma allegedly punched her in eye at Irving Plaza, during a benefit show. Taylor took to her Instagram showing a bruised and swollen eye, asking Remy “Why?”.

The fight was allegedly was over Remy’s step-daughter.
