NEW YORK, Nyc – Rapper & ‘Love & Hip Hop’ reality star Remy Ma has had her assault trial postponed.
Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, is being accused by her former “LHHNY” castmate Brittney Taylor of punching her in the eye and leaving a shiner. Taylor took to her Instagram to show her bruised eye, even tagging Remy and asking her “Why?”.
Taylor was not in court, or her lawyer because she was preparing for a show in Philadelphia.
Remy Ma’s lawyer Dawn Florio told reporters on Friday that Taylor is allegedly harassing Remy’s step-daughter Dejanae Mackie on social media, even tagging her and Florio has the proof.
Taylor was allegedly assaulted by Remy at D.J. Pretty Lou’s benefit concert that took place on April 16 at Irving Plaza.
Taylor allegedly told Remy Ma that she had to stop her step-daughters abusive boyfriend from hitting her while they were in Miami, and she didn’t take that well.
Remy’s lawyer denies that she was even in Irving Plaza at the time of the alleged assault.
Remy’s next court date is on Sept 26th.
She’s hoping to have the case dismissed.
