Renter’s in NYC get an extension to pay rent till August; no late fee’s

NYC-  New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Thursday that eviction moratoriums have been extended for another 60 days to help renter’s.

Renters can also use their security deposit to rent according to Cuomo. The Gov. also said that landlords can’t charge tenants a late fee

The first moratorium was set to end June 20th.

Many New Yorker’s have been out of work, and are have struggling to purchase food or pay for rent.
