Rev. Jesse Jackson sent to rehab, wife moved to ICU after COVID-19 complications

Rev. Jesse Jackson was sent to a rehab facility and his wife Jacqueline was placed in the ICU due to serious complications from COVID-19, according to their family on Friday.

Despite Jackson, 79, getting vaccinated in Jan., he still contracted the virus.

The couple was admitted to the Hospital last Saturday. Rev. Jackson’s son, Johnathan Jackson, says his father will begin “intensive occupational and physical therapy.”

Jacqueline, 77, has been moved to an ICU where she is “not on a ventilator” but is receiving increased oxygen. She is also breathing on her own.
