NORTH CAROLINA- A woman was arrested for robbery, after her mask fell off and an employee noticed her, police said.
The store clerk told police that a woman carrying a handgun, wearing a black face went into the Omni Mart back in October. The suspect demanded cash from the clerk and pistol-whipped them, reports WOCTV.
During the assault, the suspects mask fell off, and she was recognized by a clerk as a former employee who once worked at the convenience store, police said.
Natasha Otero is accused of fleeing the scene, leaving her facemask and handgun behind at the store.
She was reportedly arrested on December 27, after she was caught allegedly shoplifting at a shoe store, according to WSCOTV.
Otero has been charged with armed robbery for incident at the convenience store.
