NYC- Rapper Roddy Ricch was arrested on weapon charges Saturday night, right before he was set to perform at the Governor’s Ball, but the charges were dropped.
Roddy and two other men, Michael Figueroa and Carlos Collins were arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, possession of an unlawful feeding device and possession of a large capacity ammunition.
Roddy was arrested as he was trying to enter Governor’s Ball when he was stopped by private security, who witnessed a 9 mm gun and a 9-round magazine inside.
The charges against the California rapper Collins were dropped, but Figueroa was arraigned on Sunday. If convicted, Figueroa could face 7 years for each count.
Roddy was able to hit the stage for Hot97’s Summer Jam stage festival on Sunday.
The Governors Ball tweeted Sunday that the rapper wouldn’t be performing.
