NYC- Rapper Roddy Ricch was arrested on weapons charges and will not be performing at The Governor’s Ball this Sunday, reports TMZ.
Roddy and his crew were reportedly stopped at a security checkpoint for the festival, which is being held in Queens this weekend. Officers allegedly found a loaded firearm inside of the vehicle and about 9 rounds of ammo as well as a large capacity magazine.
The West Coast rapper was arrested, along with 2 other people that were riding in the vehicle.
Roddy was charged with 4 counts of criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity ammo feeding device and unlawful of that device.
The music festival announced the news right after the rapper’s arrest.
This comes after the Migos pulled out of the music festival at the last minute several days ago, with Lil Wayne taking their slot.
