NY – Sean “Diddy” Combs has temporarily stepped down as the chairman of Revolt after being hit with several sexual assault lawsuits.

The music mogul co-founded the music-oriented television network in 2013.

A statement posted on Revolt’s Instagram page reads “Sean Combs has stepped down from his position as chairman of Revolt. While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora.”

Combs was accused earlier by his ex-girlfriend singer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura of raping, beating and sex trafficking her over the course of a decade.

Combs and Cassie reached a settlement less than 24 hours after the suit was filed in NYC.

He maintains his innocence.

Combs was hit with another lawsuit last week, filed under the New York Adult Survivors Act by Joi Dickerson-Neal, who alleges that he “drugged, sexually assaulted and abused” her and that she was the victim of “revenge porn” which was created and distributed by the rapper. The suit also names Combs’ companies Bad Boy Entertainment and Combs Enterprises as defendants.

According to the complaint, Dickerson-Neal and Combs met while she was a college student in 1991 and appeared in one of his music videos. She alleges that Combs invited her to a dinner where he “intentionally drugged”, sexually assaulted her, recorded the alleged assault and shared the tape with others. She is suing him for “substantial and lifetime injuries” that she claims resulted from the sexual assault. including “severe depression and suicide ideation.”

She’s asking for a trial by jury and compensation for alleged “mental and emotional injury, distress, pain and suffering and injury to her reputation.”

A third lawsuit filed against Combs by a Jane Doe alleges that he and R&B singer Aaron Hall took turns raping her and her friend at the singers home sometime between 1990 and 1991.

TMZ first reported the news of Combs steeping down from Revolt.
