Sean Kingston And Mother Stole More Than $1 Million Through Fraud, Police

Singer Sean Kingston and his mother are accused of stealing more than $1 million through fraud, according to authorities.

Documents released Friday state Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, allegedly committed more than a million dollars in fraud in the past recent months, stealing money, a Cadillac Escalade, jewelry and furniture.

The rapper, 34, and his 61-year-old mother have been charged with conducting an organized crime scheme to defraud, identity theft, grand theft and related crimes, according to warrants released by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

Turner appeared in court Friday for a bond hearing. She is facing eight charges.

The judge kept Turner’s bond at $160,000. Her attorney will have to prove that her bond money is legitimate.

Kingston was arrested without incident on a Florida warrant in San Bernardino County Thursday. His arrest came hours after his detectives arrested his mother, Janice Turner, during the raid on his home in Fort Lauderdale.
