NEBRASKA- A woman has been convicted in the death of a woman, that she and her boyfriend lured in through the dating app Tinder.
Bailey Boswell, 26, was found on Wednesday and convicted of first-degree murder and improper disposal of human skeletal remains in the 2017 death of Sydney Loofe, reports the Omaha World-Herald.
Prosecutors say that Boswell arranged a date with Loofe through Tinder.
Loofe’s cell phone was immediately turned off once she arrived at Boswell’s residence, which she shared with her boyfriend Aubrey Trail. Loofe was reported missing and her remains were found weeks later in garbage bags.
Trial admitted to investigators that he strangled Loofe with a cord. He was also found guilty of her murder, and is facing the death penalty.
