Second Suspect Charged In Killing Of Rapper Lotta Cash Desto

HOUSTON- A second suspect has been charged in connection to the killing of rapper Lotta Cash Desto.

Jeremyah Smith, 19, has been charged with murder. He’s now the second suspect charged in the fatal shooting of the Houston rapper, according to Click2Houston.

Christian Isaiah Williams, 24, was arrested and charged last year.

Lotta Cash Desto, 25, whose real name is Destinee Govan, was shot and killed after Williams and Smith allegedly opened fire on her as she sat in her SUV at an intersection with another female in the passenger seat.

Govan was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger was rushed to a hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.

Williams was found across the street from the scene with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound before he was charged.

Police believe that the motive may have been a robbery or a road rage incident.
