BOSTON- 36-year-old Mohammed Khan, who was a security guard and his employer Securitas Security Services USA Inc have been charged with assault and battery on a child under 14 according to prosecutors.
Khan was indicted on charges of using excessive force, and unreasonable force when slamming an 11-year-old girl who had admitted to stealing inside of a store he was employed at as a guard on June 9th.
Most of the fight was caught on cellphone footage.
A crowd formed around the girl and the guard who also began punching her while continuing to fight her for 7 minutes before the police came.
The girls grandmother told WHDH “Her eye was swollen, her lips were swollen, you know?” Taffey Roberson added, “He blacked her eye, she had gashes on her arms. It was horrific for her.”
The girl can’t even be charged with stealing because she’s too young by law.
Khan who’s feet tall and weighs 225 pounds, has had previous complaints put in about his excessive force.
Khan and Securitas are scheduled to be arraigned in court on Dec. 17.
