LAS VEGAS- Sexual allegations against singer Trey Songz have been dropped by Las Vegas Police.
Investigators in Vegas have dropped a criminal investigation into sexual allegations against the singer, TMZ reports.
Police released a statement which read:
“The LVMPD has concluded the investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Tremaine Neverson and determined that no criminal charges will be filed. If any new evidence comes to light, the case will be reopened for further investigation,” the statement read.
The singer, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, is accused of raping a woman, identified as “Jane Doe” in courts docs. The incident allegedly occurred at The Cosmopolitan after the singer was celebrating his 37th birthday and decided to bring back a group of girls to his room.
The singer has another lawsuit against him, as this is not the first time that the R&B singer has been accused of sexual assault.
