FLORIDA- A shooting at a youth football game leaves one man dead, and his son wounded.
Video shows the moments a shooter interrupted a youth football game by firing into a crowd of teenagers and adults at the Arlington Heights Elementary School in Jacksonville on Sunday, TMZ reports.
The video shows a man, believed to be the coach, telling the players “This is a highly anticipated game” moments before four shots were fired. The coaches can be heard telling the players to “stay down.”
The video doesn’t show the gunman shooting.
Police say that the shooting left a 27-year-old father dead, and his younger son wounded. The boy is expected to survive his injuries.
The gunman was wearing a black hoodie and a mask, when he pulled up to the front of the school, firing his gun, and fleeing in a gray SUV.
Authorities believe that the man who was killed, was the intended target.
There no suspects in custody.
