Rapper Slim Jxmmi’s battery case has been dropped.
The rapper from the duo Rae Sremmurd had his misdemeanor charge dropped after his child’s mother recanted her allegations, according to court docs obtained by TMZ.
The rapper’s girlfriend retracted her statement, saying Slim never hit her. Due to her stating her battery claim was false, there is no basis for filling battery charges against the rapper.
Slim Jxmmi was arrested last month in Miami.
His girlfriend told police that she confronted the rapper on Jan. 24 about a woman he was following on Twitter. Slim told his child’s mother that he was going to the gym but says her friends called her to say he was at a bar with a friend.
