‘Sopranos’ Actor Tony Sirico Dies At 79

Actor Tony Sirico, best known for his role as Peter Paul “Paulie Walnuts” Gaultieri on HBO’s mobster series the ‘Sopranos’ has died at the age of 79.

The actor’s death was confirmed by his brother, Robert Sirico, who released a statement Friday, “It is with great sadness, but with incredible pride, love and a whole lot of fond memories, that the family of Gennaro Anthony “Tony” Sirico wishes to inform you of his death on the morning of July 8, 2022.”

Sirico’s cause of death is unknown.

Sirico, who grew up in Brooklyn, was known for his roles in movies like “Goodfellas,”, “Cafe Society”, “Mighty Aphrodite” and others.
