11-year-old Gannon Stauch, was last seen in late January after he had allegedly left to go over to a friend’s house according to authorities. When the boy didn’t return home, the step-mother filed a missing reports persons missing.
His step-mother, Letecia Stauch, has now been arrested and charged with his murder and disappearance.
Police have charged Stauch with first-degree murder charges for a child under the age of 12 years, child abuse resulting in death and tampering with physical evidence according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Now, the crazy part about this story is that Stauch’s body hasn’t been found, if it’s true what investigators are believing and he is deceased.
Despite Stauchs’ original story to authorities, a neighbor’s surveillance footage captures her getting into her red pickup truck with Gannon on the day he went missing. This is according to KRDO.
She returned 4 hours later, and Gannon wasn’t with her.
