MISSISSIPPI- A student is missing after her car was found abandoned on a bridge, police say.
Kori Gautheir, 18, didn’t show up for work, school, or a doctor’s appointment on Wednesday, reports The Advocate.
Police say that Gautheir’s car caused an accident on the Mississippi River Bridge.
The motorist who found Gautheir’s car on the Mississippi River Bridge told police that a car had cut him off, went over a few lanes and ended up parked after the crash.
When the motorist went over to Gautheir’s parked car, she was gone.
Police found her phone and wallet.
Foul play isn’t suspected in her appearance, and there are search teams focusing on the river.
